My name is Cindy Covey. I have been an Environmental Chemist at various laboratories in the Portland, Beaverton and currently in the Hillsboro area for the last 28 years.   I have lived my whole life in Oregon, growing up in Milwaukie, attending college at Linfield University in McMinnville and finally settling with my husband of 25 years here in Hillsboro. I have two wonderful daughters Rosalie (21) and Felicity (16).

About 10 years ago a girlfriend and I went to a “paint and sip” class to create a painting for my husband for our anniversary.   We had so much fun that I continued going to these classes with many different friends and family. I eventually decided to start making original paintings and set up my own small art studio at home. I find such joy and satisfaction creating and sharing this with the people in my life.  It is a perfect counter balance to what I do during my “day job”.

Up until now I have painted for personal use or as gifts for friends and family.  I am so excited to take the next step and to share my work with you!   Please don’t hesitate to reach out if have any questions about any of the work I do.   The beginning of this journey is exciting and I can’t wait to get out and meet as many of you as I can.
